intercessory prayer ministry
1 Thessalonians 5: 16-19 tells us,
"Rejoice evermore. Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this
is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit.”
The Intercessory Prayer Ministry of Piney Baptist Church is an opportunity for prayer warriors (intercessors) to lift others and their needs up to our heavenly Father. Intercessors come to the Prayer Room throughout the week to pray for specific needs.
There are several areas of prayer that are lifted up: the lost, the ill, those with different types of trials in their lives, our church, the staff, church leaders, missionaries, our country, the military, our community, and the ministries of our church. This ministry is open to anyone who feels led by God to intercede on behalf of others and dedicate one hour a week to praying for the many needs and requests that are made known to us.
